The smallest of Colt DCS's three Frankfurt sites, Frankfurt City sits east of the centre in one of the city's original data center hubs, on a 2,620 sqm site with 1.2 MW of IT power. What it lacks in scale it makes up for in resilience engineering: the power train runs an N+N UPS configuration, backed by N+1 generators carrying 72 hours of fuel at full load, all built to Colt's tier 3 infrastructure specification. Its position gives tenants access to metro fibre networks from the major telecommunications providers, and the facility is carrier-neutral with a full range of national and international carriers available. Renewable energy supply supports the operator's green initiatives. The customer profile reflects Frankfurt's role as Germany's financial capital — large enterprises, banks and financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and transport and logistics operators that want a modest, well-connected footprint close to the city rather than hyperscale halls on the periphery.
