The oldest asset in Keppel DC REIT's home portfolio, Keppel DC Singapore 1 began life as a 1990s industrial building in the Serangoon North Industrial Estate, about 10.5 km from the city centre, and was converted to data centre use in 2001 before a major retrofit between 2011 and 2013. Today it comprises a six-storey main data centre building with an adjoining five-storey annexe, operated with 24/7 technical support. Despite its age, the certification stack is one of the deepest in the portfolio: ANSI/TIA-942-B Rated-3 for facility design plus ISO 9001, 14001, 27001, 27701, 37001, 45001, 46001 and 50001, Singapore's SS 507 business-continuity and SS 564 sustainable data centre standards, the IMDA Data Protection Trustmark and bizSAFE Star. Power, floor area and rack figures are not disclosed publicly. The facility suits enterprise colocation and disaster-recovery deployments where governance credentials and a proven operating history in Singapore matter more than cutting-edge density.
