Unlike its retrofitted neighbour, Keppel DC Singapore 3 was purpose-built from the ground up, completed in 2015 directly adjacent to Keppel DC Singapore 2 in Tampines. The five-storey, carrier-neutral facility provides dedicated colocation suites with 24/7 technical support, and Keppel DC REIT moved to full ownership of the asset. Green credentials distinguish it within the cluster: it holds both a BCA Green Mark Platinum award and LEED Gold, the latter since 2014, alongside the ISO management-system suite (9001, 14001, 27001, 27701, 37001, 45001, 46001, 50001), SS 507 business continuity, SS 564 sustainable data centre certification, the IMDA Data Protection Trustmark and PUB's Water Efficient Building recognition. As with the rest of the REIT's Singapore portfolio, power capacity, floor area and rack counts are not disclosed. The purpose-built design, carrier neutrality and suite-based model make it a fit for enterprises and service providers wanting dedicated space in Singapore's supply-constrained colocation market.
