A former Rexam aluminium-can factory on the North Sea coast near Dunkirk became OVHcloud's largest campus when the company brought it online in 2013. The Gravelines site spans more than 9 hectares with roughly 20,000 sqm of buildings, and its first two halls, GRA1 and GRA2, were built to accommodate over 85,000 servers; industry trackers rank the campus among the largest server concentrations in Europe. Everything here follows OVHcloud's vertically integrated model: servers are designed and assembled in-house in nearby Croix and cooled with the company's proprietary direct-to-chip water-cooling loops, which removes most mechanical air conditioning. Gravelines hosts multiple OVHcloud public and private cloud regions and sits inside the provider's SecNumCloud-qualified northern France zone alongside Roubaix and Strasbourg. OVHcloud's French facilities operate under ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701 plus the HDS health-data standard, making the campus a fit for European enterprises with data-sovereignty requirements rather than retail colocation buyers.
