When Telehouse opened its Bangkok site in May 2023, it positioned the building as the city's first purpose-built, connectivity-focused carrier-neutral data centre rather than a converted office floor. The USD 74 million (THB 2.5 billion), three-storey facility in the Rama 9 business district offers 9,000 sqm of space with 9.5 MVA of power drawn from two separate utility substations, N+1 generator redundancy and an average design load of 4 kW per rack. Four diverse fibre entry routes support an interconnection ecosystem of more than ten telecom, cloud and content partners; AWS deployed network infrastructure here at launch, and an AWS Direct Connect location went live at the site in January 2025. Telehouse states the facility runs on 100% renewable electricity. Colocation options span single locked cabinets, caged suites and open custom footprints, aimed at carriers, content platforms and enterprises that want a neutral interconnection hub in central Bangkok as part of Telehouse's global data centre network.
