Khazna AUH6 Masdar City

With 31.8 MW of IT load, AUH6 is Khazna's flagship hyperscale facility in Masdar City, the low-carbon urban development on the edge of Abu Dhabi. Launched in February 2024, the site was pitched from the outset as AI-ready, engineered for the higher and less uniform power profiles of accelerated computing rather than classic enterprise IT. It holds an Uptime Institute Tier III design certification and achieved LEED Gold, aided by rooftop and site solar PV that supplements grid supply — a combination that fits Masdar City's sustainability mandate. AUH6 also anchors a growing campus: Khazna has broken ground next door on AUH8, which will lift the combined site to about 62 MW. As a wholesale operator majority-linked to the G42 technology group, Khazna aims AUH6 at hyperscale cloud platforms, AI companies and government workloads needing large contiguous capacity in the UAE capital region.
