Sited within walking distance of HK1 and HK3, Equinix HK2 spans multiple floors of an 18-story reinforced-concrete industrial building at Kerry Warehouse on Shing Yiu Street, midway between Hong Kong International Airport and the central business district. The IBX offers roughly 8,130 square meters of raised-floor colocation space with capacity for about 2,350 cabinets following its third-phase expansion, drawing on around 13 MW of power. Diverse-path fiber ties HK2 to HK1, HK3 and HK5, so deployments here participate fully in the virtual campus and its ecosystem of interconnected networks and cloud on-ramps; the site reports access to around 85 network providers and more than 110 cloud providers. Equinix has flagged HK2 for liquid-cooling capability, with plans to pre-build liquid-to-the-cage infrastructure for AI deployments. The facility is designed for energy efficiency and holds LEED Gold certification alongside ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations. It fits enterprises and service providers that want campus-level interconnection with room to grow beyond HK1.
