AdaniConneX Chennai 1

Chennai 1 was the first facility AdaniConneX — the joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX — brought to market, launched on 4 November 2022 at SIPCOT IT Park in Siruseri on Chennai's southern IT corridor. The campus is engineered for 33 MW of IT load, with a 17 MW first phase live and Flipkart named as anchor customer alongside enterprise and technology tenants. Electricity arrives through a dedicated 110kV/11kV, 50 MVA gas-insulated substation fed from dual sources, and the operator supplies up to 100 percent renewable power under its stated ambition to build a 1 GW green data center platform across India. Design PUE is below 1.45 with free-cooling technology, and halls can be delivered in TIA-942-B Rated 3 or Rated 4 compliant configurations. The building carries Tamil Nadu's first IGBC Platinum pre-certification plus ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications and SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations. A carrier-neutral environment hosts major Indian telecom providers and internet exchanges, suiting both hyperscale and enterprise deployments.
