EdgeConneX Jakarta Hyperscale Campus

About 35 kilometers east of central Jakarta in Cikarang, Bekasi, EdgeConneX operates the first phase of a hyperscale campus serving a metro area of more than 32 million people. The facility opened in September 2023 with 2 MW operational and up to 4 MW available for rapid expansion, and the operator has acquired an adjacent 45,000-square-meter plot to grow the campus beyond 200 MW for cloud and AI demand. Cooling is N+1 water-based chilled water, and the site is wrapped in at least seven layers of physical security with more than 100 CCTV cameras. Eleven network carriers are available, including Telkom, Indosat, XL, Lintasarta, Moratel and NTT Indonesia, with diverse fiber conduits to multiple peering locations. Certifications include ISO 27001, ISO 9001, PCI-DSS and UL 2799 landfill-diversion, alongside TVRA and POJK 38 assessments relevant to Indonesian financial regulation. The campus targets hyperscale cloud, AI platforms and regulated enterprises building out in Indonesia.
