NTT Cyberjaya 5 (CBJ5)

CBJ5, in service since February 2021, was the fifth building on NTT's long-established Cyberjaya campus south of Kuala Lumpur and introduced a cooling-wall system the operator described as a first of its kind for the site, feeding rack densities of up to 15 kW. The compact, modular facility delivers 6.5 MW of critical IT load within about 107,000 sq ft (roughly 9,940 sqm), fed by two 33 kV substations over dual diverse paths. Although engineered to a Tier IV-ready design, the building's formal credentials are Uptime Institute Tier III certifications for both design documents and the constructed facility. Its location matters as much as its plant: NTT routes several of its submarine cable systems through Malaysia, and the Cyberjaya campus serves as a connectivity anchor for those routes. CBJ5 suits enterprises and cloud providers wanting certified resilience in the Klang Valley with room for moderately dense deployments, and it operates in tandem with the newer CBJ6 next door.
