Equinix DC2

Equinix DC2 at 21715 Filigree Court is one of the founding buildings of the Ashburn campus and remains a core interconnection point for the US East Coast, sitting at the heart of the largest peering exchange hub in the region. The single-story tilt-up facility offers roughly 118,400 sq ft (11,000 sq m) of raised floor within a 147,600 sq ft building, backed by around 4 MW of power with N+1 redundancy on both UPS and cooling plant. Its value lies less in raw capacity than in network density: DC2 connects into a metro ecosystem of more than 190 network service providers and 1,360-plus companies, with campus cross connects reaching every other DC-series building and cloud on-ramps available over Equinix Fabric. Washington D.C. IBX facilities carry ISO 27001, ISO 22301, SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, HIPAA and NIST 800-53 attestations. DC2 suits network nodes, peering fabrics and latency-sensitive deployments rather than bulk compute footprints.
