Equinix FR4 sits at Laerchenstrasse 110 in western Frankfurt, one of the IBX buildings that make the Equinix Frankfurt metro among the densest interconnection hubs in Europe. Third-party facility listings put the building at about 113,000 sq ft in total with roughly 91,500 sq ft (around 8,500 sqm) of raised-floor colocation space and 8 MW of power, protected by a distributed redundant UPS design running 2N or N+1. Around 93 network and service providers are available on-site, and the facility offers direct cloud on-ramps including Google Cloud and Alibaba Cloud, alongside access to the DE-CIX ecosystem that defines the Frankfurt market. Compliance covers ISO 27001, ISO 9001, PCI DSS, SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2. Physical access runs through 24/7 staffing and mantrap entry. FR4 is best suited to enterprises and networks whose workloads live on interconnection — peering, cloud connectivity and low-latency reach to counterparties across the Equinix campus.
