GEDC Rayong

GEDC01 in Rayong is Gulf Edge's step from joint-venture participant to hyperscale campus developer in its own right. Sited in the Eastern Economic Corridor, the project is planned for a maximum service capacity of 100 MW — among the largest single campuses announced in Thailand — with commercial operations scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027 and Gulf indirectly holding a 70% stake. The EEC location leverages the parent group's home turf: Gulf operates substantial power generation in the corridor, giving the campus a direct line to large, reliable energy supply, which is the binding constraint for AI-scale facilities. The development is framed as AI-ready with liquid cooling in the design, though as an announced project it has no published certifications, floor areas or density specifications yet. If delivered on schedule, GEDC01 would materially expand Thailand's hyperscale capacity outside the Bangkok metro and give cloud and AI tenants an EEC alternative anchored by an energy incumbent.
