Colocation facilities at Tai Seng added to STT GDC's Singapore portfolio through the completion of its joint venture with Tata Communications.

STT Tai Seng entered ST Telemedia Global Data Centres' portfolio through its joint venture with Tata Communications, which brought a cluster of established Singapore colocation facilities under the STT banner; STT GDC later bought out Tata's remaining 26% stake to take full ownership. The main building at 35 Tai Seng Street in eastern Singapore, marketed as STT Singapore 5, carries a published IT load of more than 13 MW and is positioned by the operator as a regional connectivity hub. That positioning rests on its carrier heritage: the site offers access tied to Tier 1 submarine cable systems, including the Australia Singapore Cable (ASC) and TGN Intra-Asia, along with direct connections to multiple ISPs, telecom carriers and cloud service providers. Tai Seng is best suited to network-centric deployments — carriers, content and cloud on-ramps, and enterprises that value dense interconnection over raw scale — complementing STT GDC's larger hyperscale-oriented buildings elsewhere on the island.
