Launched in October 2023 after a construction start in September 2022, CBJ6 rounded out NTT's Cyberjaya campus as its sixth building, adding 7 MW of critical IT load and about 4,890 sqm of space for an investment of over RM 234 million (around USD 50 million). The engineering mirrors the formula proven in the neighboring CBJ5: advanced cooling-wall technology keeps a stable environment for racks up to 15 kW, and two 33 kV substations provide diverse power reception. Together the two newest buildings give the campus roughly 20,000 sqm of combined space and a 22 MW facility load, making it one of the larger established colocation footprints in Cyberjaya, Malaysia's original data-center district. NTT positions the campus at the crossroads of its submarine cable investments through Malaysia, which appeals to carriers and cloud platforms as well as domestic enterprises. CBJ6 is a fit for organizations that want capacity in the Klang Valley on a mature, multi-building campus rather than a greenfield hyperscale park in Johor.
