Built at remarkable speed — roughly 314 days and 2.2 million working hours from the November 2021 groundbreaking — the first building of Bridge Data Centres' MY06 campus in Sedenak Tech Park, Kulai, held its grand opening on 20 October 2022, becoming one of Malaysia's first true hyperscale data centres. The campus spans about 38–40 acres and comprises three buildings with a combined IT load of around 100 MW (the overall project has been described as 110 MW). ByteDance, through ByteDance System Sdn Bhd, is the anchor tenant with a long-term commitment, making MY06 emblematic of the Chinese-platform demand that kicked off Johor's data centre boom. Bridge, a subsidiary of Bain Capital-backed Chindata Group, operates it as a build-to-suit wholesale campus rather than retail colocation. Its Sedenak location sits in the corridor between Kulai and Iskandar Puteri that has since become Southeast Asia's densest cluster of hyperscale construction.
