Scale defines CtrlS's Mumbai campus: the operator quotes 8,000 racks, 1.25 million sq ft (about 116,000 sqm) of space and 95 MW of power across a multi-building hyperscale site, with five data center buildings operational in the city and additional buildings under development. CtrlS builds to Rated-4 standards — the highest fault-tolerance classification — and wraps its facilities in the company's 'Nine Zone' security model. For AI tenants the campus offers liquid-cooled rack options engineered for high-density GPU clusters, a differentiator among Indian colocation providers. Half of the campus's energy is drawn from renewable sources, which CtrlS says makes it the largest renewable-powered campus in Mumbai. The location keeps customers inside India's financial capital, close to the country's densest enterprise demand and the subsea cable systems landing on the Mumbai coast. The campus is pitched at banks, exchanges and payment companies that require fault-tolerant infrastructure, hyperscalers scaling cloud regions, and enterprises consolidating into a single high-security metro footprint with room to grow.
