Bangkok 3 is the higher-density successor to NTT's Bangkok 2, rising on an adjacent plot at the Amata City Chonburi industrial estate in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor, about 57 km from central Bangkok. NTT committed roughly THB 3 billion (about USD 90 million) to the project, its largest in Thailand, with commercial service targeted for the second half of 2025 after the timeline shifted from an original 2024 goal. The design provides 12 MW of critical IT load over approximately 4,000 sqm of IT space and supports rack densities up to 30 kW — a clear step toward AI and high-performance workloads compared with its neighbor. Resilience follows the campus formula: an N+1 or better electrical system and N+2 cooling using efficient water-cooled chillers, on ground chosen for its distance from flood-prone zones. Power supply is contracted from B.Grimm Power under the utility agreement covering both Chonburi buildings. Target customers are hyperscalers and large enterprises needing scalable capacity near, but not inside, Bangkok.
