An 11-million-perforation art facade makes LHR2 the rare data centre designed to be looked at: Rafael El Baz's '11 Million Dots' installation, built from ambient sound and interviews with local residents, wraps the six-storey building that Vantage opened in Park Royal, West London, in September 2025. Behind the facade sits a 194,000 sq ft (18,000 sqm) facility delivering 20MW of IT capacity — Vantage's second London campus and a £250 million investment into the local economy. The engineering emphasises urban integration as much as capacity: air- and water-source heat pumps support a low PUE, waste heat is exported to a local district heating network, and the building carries BREEAM Excellent certification and Urban Greening Factor compliance. Park Royal places tenants in West London's power corridor with proximity to the North Acton LHR1 campus, letting customers split deployments across two nearby Vantage sites. LHR2 suits wholesale and enterprise customers wanting newly built, sustainability-credentialed capacity inside London, and contributes to Vantage's planned 223MW UK footprint.
